Welcome Charles Ramm
Charles Ramm, RA, NCARB
Welcome to the world of architectural finesse and expertise. Meet Charles Ramm, a professional architect whose career spans more than 40 years across the diverse terrains of California, Arizona, and Nevada. With a wealth of experience and a portfolio showcasing retail, restaurant, and hospitality work, Charles brings his seasoned expertise to Studios (SFS).
Throughout his career he has left an indelible mark on the West Coast's architectural landscape. When asking Charles about his favorite project he said, “For over 30 years, I worked as a designer and architect for Nick's Restaurants and South of Nick's Restaurants, spanning 7 locations across California. My tenure involved collaborating with three generations of the Nickoloff family—grandfather, father, and son. Initially contributing to the development of Claim Jumper Restaurants, I transitioned into spearheading the design and architecture for Nick's and South of Nick's establishments.”
After owning a successful architectural firm in Orange County alongside his wife Deborah, Charles, together with his family, moved to Las Vegas in 2021. Now, he's putting his expertise to work at SFS, a small woman-owned architecture firm in Henderson, Nevada. This shift signals a new beginning, as Charles joins a team committed to promoting diversity, creativity, and innovation in architecture.
When Charles is not immersed in the world of architecture, you'll often find him savoring the vibrant ambiance of restaurants, enjoying delicious cuisines, and enjoying a sip or two of adult beverages. Exploring the Southwest USA or jetting off to enchanting international destinations, especially the Caribbean islands or the breathtaking allure of Tahiti, brings him and his family immense joy. Fun fact: Charles and his wife exchanged vows on the captivating shores of St. John in the US Virgin Islands.
Charles noted, “when the summer heat hits, there's nothing better than spending quality pool time with my family creating cherished moments under the sun.”
